L. Frank Baum’s magical tale of Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz comes to life as The Attic Theatre presents the RSC Version of the timeless musical, The Wizard of Oz. Faithful to the classic film, this production is sure to delight and enchant audiences of all ages. The Wizard of Oz will open September 5th, 2008, at the Theater at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6th, Bellevue, Washington, (425) 637-1020. Performances are scheduled for Friday, September 5th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, the 6th at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, the 7th at 2:30 p.m.; Friday, the 12th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, the 13th at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, the 14th at 2:30 p.m.; Friday, the 19th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, the 20th with a special matinee at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, the 21st at 2:30 p.m.; Friday, the 26th at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, the 27th at 7:30 p.m.; and closing on Sunday, the 28th at 2:30 p.m. We will also be offering for immediate booking and a special rate, two school shows for Thursday September 18th for morning and afternoon. The show is directed by Jane Reinhardt, with musical direction by Sue Timpe. Tickets are $25 general, $20 seniors/students, and $15 for groups of ten or more.
